What I Speak and Write About

My work focuses on the decisions leaders face as AI moves into real business use. That starts with deciding when a system has earned enough trust for people to rely on it. Once the business depends on it, the leadership questions change.

When AI is ready for business use
How leaders evaluate whether an AI application is dependable enough to support real decisions and broader use.
Building AI around business decisions
How teams define what an application needs to accomplish and test whether it supports the intended decision.
Making time for AI adoption
How leaders create opportunities for employees to experiment with AI and improve existing workflows during the workday.

Decision-Ready, Not Production-Ready: How Business Teams Build AI Applications with the FAST Cycle

March 25, 2026  ·  Berlin, Germany

90-minute workshop

AI efforts often stall even when the technology works. The business decision is unclear, and the team has not defined how the output will fit into the workflow or what a useful result should support.

In this session, Paul introduces the FAST cycle: Frame the Decision, Ask Better Questions, Spec It, Test It. He shows how business leaders can use it to move from vague experimentation to AI applications tied to real decisions. The session gives leaders a practical method for shaping the question and testing whether the result is useful enough to act on.
